Amy Pleimling

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Amy received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from the University of Minnesota and completed her Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-approved internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. She has been practicing in the field of nutrition as a registered dietitian since 1997 and has a wide background in the field of nutrition education, medical nutrition therapy and nutrition coaching. She uses her expertise to provide a realistic and practical approach that is relevant to each and every audience member.

Amy is certified in adult weight management training and has years of experience coaching behavior changes that help people lose weight and improve their health through lifestyle changes.  She can provide nutrition therapy for the improvement of health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, bowel diseases, disordered eating, celiac disease and food allergies.  She also is passionate about prevention and loves working with children and their families to make healthier food choices. Amy is the author of Don't Yuck My Yum! - a children's book about healthy eating behaviors.
